SOWA HOLIDAY
MARKET PROGRAM
The Sowa
Holiday Market is now in its
5th year. This year we will be
hosting 77 artisans from around New
England for a two-day juried gift show
at the Cathedral High School Gym, in
Boston.

The Holiday Market offers a special
blend of wearable art, jewelry, pottery,
home décor and unusual gifts. The event
has become a yearly destination for
Boston area holiday shoppers who have an
eye for original gifts and want to meet
the artists who create them.
In 2007 our
attendance was 8,000! This year we are
expecting over 11,000 attendees. We are
offering advertising in our official
program to local businesses who would
like to take advantage of this special
event.

10,000 full color programs distributed
around the South End and at the show.

Sowa Holiday Market website, last year
we had over 700,000 hits!
Businesses donating to
Cell Phone Santa*
will be prominently displayed at the
front
of the show.
Cell Phone Santa*
A great
way to drive new customers
to your store. Cell Phone Santa, a
unique Holiday gift raffle, was a huge
success for the last two years. Market
patrons who purchased raffle tickets
could be called by Santa on their cell
phones with the good news that they have
won a gift from a Market vendor. This
year we are extending Cell Phone Santa
to local stores. A benefit for
Washington Gateway Main Street.

Distribution
December 1, 2008 at various
locations around the South End. In
addition, programs will be distributed
throughout the Sowa Holiday Market.
Deadlines
Advertising space reservation
deadline is October 24, 2008.
Copy, ad materials as well as
digital-ready ads and payment are due by November
2, 2008.

We only accept digital - ready copies,
no film negatives or hard copies. Please
provide your artwork in one of the
following formats, listed in order of
preference:
* Adobe PDF, prepared at press,
fonts embedded, CMYK, no RGB
images
* Adobe CS2 (PSD, TIFF preferred,
JPEG acceptable in some cases)
* Illustrator CS 2
Resolution Specs
Images should be at a
resolution of no less than 300DPI
