Vendor Profile - Swirly Designs

Lianne & Paul Stoddard make polymer clay holiday ornaments. They go by the name Swirly Designs, a reference to the swirly patterns they use in their ornaments and also a loving tribute to one of their favorite paintings – Starry Night by Van Gogh. Swirly Designs has been a SoWa Holiday Market Vendor since 2005.

“We really enjoy being a vendor at SHM. We have two little ones now so we are really limited on the amount of shows we can do. But the SOWA Holiday Market is always a must for us. We have built a wonderful following of customers who visit us each year. We love visiting and shopping at other vendors booths as well and plus the show promotion and the shows graphics always deliver.”

Lianne & Paul have a bright, cheerful studio on the main floor of their 150 year old New England Colonial home. They love to collect holiday decorations, and vintage holiday themed magazines and books for inspiration. Paul & Lianne met while attending the New England School of Art & Design. Paul’s illustrations and Lianne’s design and color sensibilities each find their way into their polymer clay ornaments. Every ornament is handmade and unique. You’re sure to find something to continue with a family tradition, or perhaps their booth will inspire you to start a new one!
